Christmas with Melody Maison 2015
It's not Christmas without a little Melody Maison. If you've followed my blog for a while you'll know they're the only shabby chic interior store for me. Each year since I discovered Melody Maison I'm eagerly popping onto the website waiting for their Christmas collection to drop. I could literally buy the entire range. The day I own my own house will be a very dangerous day for my bank account. I was lucky enough to receive a few of their beautiful festive items, honestly receiving such a parcel made my day with everything that's been going on & I can't wait to share with you the items they superbly picked out for me.

'There is Snow place like home' Wall Plaque
At the moment I'm torn between keeping this up in my bedroom OR hanging the plaque up in the hall - replacing our other Melody Maison plaque for the holiday season. The plaque itself is made from metal with a chain to easily hang. The festive quote is printed onto the metal in various fonts, with distressed edges. It'd make a lovely decoration to have in the hall when it comes to the various visitors & family Christmas brings as well as a wonderful sentimental gift for someone to treasure year after year.

Set of Two Small Chrome Reindeer
I absolutely love the Chrome Reindeer Duo from Melody Maison, they fit my silver & pastel theme of the bedroom perfectly. As you can see I have the pair on my shelving unit - also Melody Maison where they really do finish off my festive display SO well. Each one is made from metal with a high chrome shine finish. You could easily attach a little Christmas ribbon and hang on your Christmas tree OR stand them as I do. They'd also make a lovely feature for the Christmas dinner table.

Merry Christmas Burst Card Holder
Each year we find ourselves looking for the right card holder. We thought we had cracked it last year though we ended up DIY'ing the should have been perfect metal card holder so it could be hung on our wall. Thank god for Melody Maison and their Merry Christmas Burst Card Holder. Since having Harry & Mollie we daren't have a card holder that's too long unless we want our festive mail well and truly shredded. The white distressed finish and circular design will work perfectly for us and hold SO many cards, photo's and more. It would also double as a decoration if you didn't fancy using it to hold your greeting cards - the stars are where you clip on your cards.

Cream Wooden Cut Out Christmas Tree - N/A
One item I sadly can't seem to find on the website is this wonderful wooden cut out Christmas Tree. It's honestly my favourite piece I have to show you, though they do have a similar free standing Christmas tree on the site. The white/cream wood fits perfectly into my room, making a lovely decoration to have on your Christmas dinner table, mantel OR by your window as I have mine. The tree arrives in two pieces which easily slot together - careful moving because they don't hold together too firmly. I've actually applied a little glue to mine being as accident prone as I am. You could easily add a few little extras to make the tree stand out even more on your table though I prefer to leave this one as it is. I adore the wooden cut out 'quotes/text' of Hope, Let it Snow, Noel & Merry Christmas as well as the adorable reindeer, holy, snowflakes & star. For such an intricate design it's not at all rough, each edge is perfectly shaped and smooth.

  2. I love the card holder, it is so pretty! We usually hang our cards up with one of those bunting-like holders, but this looks much nicer.
